- One author to be designated as the corresponding author (also provide contact details including email and postal address
- Manuscript (text file, including keywords, figures with captions, and tables with description and footnotes if needed)
- Ensure all figure and tables are properly cited in the text and match the files provided
- Provide supplemental files (where applicable)
- Recommended Formatting (Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12px, Text alignment: Justified)

- Manuscript has been “spell and grammar checked”
- All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa
- Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet)
- Referee suggestions and contact details provided
b. Manuscript preparation
Text file of the manuscript shall be prepared in Microsoft Word document (composed on a A4 210 x 297 mm page-setup, with 25 mm margins on top/bottom and left/right, doubly spaced lines, 12 Font size, Times New Romans, with continuous line-numbers shown throughout, and paginated at bottom center) and submitted at the “GEOLOGICA” manuscript center (Editorial Manager of Geologica): https://geologica.gov.pk/

Title
Concise and conveying a strong message regarding the contents (Capitalize, font size-14, bold and centered)

Author Names
Full name(s) of all authors and their affiliation should be clearly mentioned with at least one author as the corresponding author (provide email of corresponding author).

Abstract
A short and brief summary (not more than 300 words) that explains the study topic, its contents, methodology, and main results/conclusions, that should be elaborated in details in the main text (Times New Romans, font size 10, typed in italics, centered).

Tables
Tables should be prepared in Microsoft Excel, Word, or data in CSV format, with no internal formatting, line artworks or internal line-breaks. Provide all the data in single sheet and to be printed on a single page if possible.
Illustrations
Provide all illustrations/figures in electronic format at the time of manuscript submission, with resolutions no smaller than 300 dpi. If the quality is low, editorial office may contact for better resolution files. Acceptable formats are eps, jpg, tiff, or pdf. Illustrations of each file must be provided separately.
